Nose Threadlift (Non Surgical Nosejob) @ Clifford Aesthetics Clinic

3 years ago I had nose filler done for a higher nose bridge. After that I had Tyrael and was just overwhelmed with being a ftwm that I didn't follow up with any treatments to maintain the nose bridge.
This time,  I sought the advice of my friend and Doctor,  Gerard and see what he could recommend for me.
He advised that I could do the new nose threadlift procedure instead of fillers as it is more solid and lasts so much longer than nose fillers.

(Abstract from http://www.cliffordclinic.com/ultra-v-hiko-nose-threadlift/)

Benefits of the Nose Threadlift:

- Non Surgical- Quick- Minimally Invasive- No downtime- No Risks

How does it work?
  • The procedure involves the insertion of threads called PDO (polydixanone) threads. The PDO threads have been scientifically proven to be fully absorbed by the body after some time. As they dissolve, they create new collagen and tissue fibroblasts, which will result in tighter skin around the nose, enhancing the nose’s definition and contour.
The threads act as a scaffolding that immediately helps to give contour, lift and shape the nose as desired without going under the knife.

All it takes is 15 minutes

The procedure is simple and takes only 15 minutes to complete. At The Clifford Clinic, we take utmost care for your comfort, hence numbing cream and local anaesthesia is used making the procedure relatively painless!
It only takes 1 session to achieve the desired results! With the right type and number of threads used in the procedure, you can achieve the desired nose shape in just one 15 minute session and it is visible right after the procedure!
If you’ve ever wanted a straighter, more defined nose without the invasive nose implant surgery or the risks of a Nose Filler, Ultra V Hiko Nose Threadlift is for you.

    What is PDO Threadlift technology?

PDO Threadlift is a revolutionary skin tightening technology that makes use of fine threads called polydioxanone (PDO) that are inserted into targeted areas under the skin to stimulate skin tissue. A tightening effect is achieved from the inside out, as the skin tissues create new tissue fibroblasts and collagen.
PDO is an ultra-thin (0.12mm) synthetic absorbable monofilament thread that is commonly used in cardiovascular surgery and fine ligatures. Due to it’s super thin nature, treatment is much more comfortable and painless.
The PDO threads are very versatile and can be used to highten the nose bridge, giving it a very natural lifted look. PDO threads can also be used to enhance the nose tip as well, giving a more pointed and heightened look that cannot be achieved by dermal filler injection. The results are long lasting and look natural too! After some time, the PDO threads are naturally and safely absorbed into the body.

    Will it produce sufficient results?

One of the concerns for such a simple procedure is – would it achieve a sufficient result? Some Nose Threadlift procedures seem to not give a sufficient result, so what is the problem?
The results are based on a variety of factors including:
    • Wrong number of nose threads used
    • Wrong technique of placement of the threads
    • Wrong type of nose threads used. Short, thin threads do not give a good result. Threads that are too thick may leave a scar at the injection point too. The right threads must be chosen – with the right type of cog that is able to provide the best lift effect for the bridge and tip.
The doctors at The Clifford Clinic will make the best judgement on the right type of threads to use, therefore maximizing the scaffolding, lifting and contouring effect!
