THE DARK KNIGHT RISES IS HERE!

Good day folks! 

I was once again selected by Omy.Sg to attend their Movie Event, this time for:

The Dark Knight Rises Movie Event in conjunction with Dominos Pizza!

Together with my baby sister Tabby, we attended the Movie Event @ Golden Village-Vivocity on 3rd August 2012.  

When we reached and headed over to register, we were greeted with a nicely set-up Registration Counter (it's decorated with balloons! How nice!) with Omy.sg's staffs attending to us bloggers, issuing the tickets, taking our attendances, and best of all, giving out goodie bags!

We had about an hour before the movie so Tabby & I went to hunt for food! We settled @ Long John Silvers cause that was the only eatery where we managed to get a seat! Here's a couple of shots taken!

So, about the goodie bag, here's a few shots of what's in it! I love the cup! Well, you'll see in a couple of secs. :)

So there's this small booklet in the bag, with stickers in it!!! I know we're all way pass those sticker collecting days but come on! It's the Dark Knight! I'm sure we all have somewhere to stick them! ^.^ Well, I know I do!

THIS is THE BAG! Small and cute, comfortable & easy to carry! Seriously if you're traveling light, you can use this as your bag!

Alright! Here's a promotion to grab WHILE STOCKS LAST!

After our fulfilling Long John Silvers dinner, it was time for the movie! I was very excited although that was the second time I'm watching Dark Knight Rises(First time was with Darling Hubby @ AMK Hub).

We went on to get seated, movie started and both of us were super engrossed with the movie. Needless to say, we loved the movie and both were filled with Gotham's Spirit even after leaving the theatres!

SO.........

Here's a few of my take on why YOU should watch The Dark Knight Rises:

1) GREAT STORYLINE:

Continuing from where The Dark Knight ended, in The Dark Knight Rises, we move on to see what will happen to the Batman and/or Bruce Wayne(Christian Bale) after taking the fall for Two-Faced Harvey Dent's evil deeds and have since retired from being The Batman. Gotham City has made Harvey Dent the "HERO" of Gotham while the Batman has been cast out and wanted by the police. 

Apart from what Batman's fate would be, Bruce Wayne's butler and guardian Alfred(Michael Caine) since Wayne was born, struggle with each other when Bruce decides to be back in the scene to help save Gotham City from a new evil villian bent on destroying Gotham City. Love is the greatest thing anyone can have and Alfred's father-like love for Bruce Wayne is just touching!

2) New VILLIAN, New HERO:

This time, we have the Villian, BANE aka The Masked Man(Tom Hardy) to oppose our all time hero Batman. BANE is here in Gotham City and bent on destroying it. BANE rose from darkness being a mercenary. Being also a former League of Shadows (Just like Batman was in "The Batman Begins"), this strong, big sized villian has much to offer the city, but of course, in the most terrifying way far from good. 

Now how can we miss out a Sexy Hot Character?! The Catwoman, Selina Kyle(Anne Hathaway) once again join Batman in action. As a thief for most of her life, Selina Kyle wants a clean slate, a fresh start. On the search for what she wants most, she joins Batman in the fight against Gotham's biggest threat, Bane. Selina would be the character where you find her in the middle of the scale. Is she a hero? A villian? Which side is she on? Would she abandon the help needed in the city and flee? You shall see!

3) Action, Action & MORE ACTION! 

One of the things we're sure when we think about The Dark Knight is that the action sequence, graphics and gadgets in the movie are NOT to be missed! Everyone loves a good action movie and The Dark Knight rises is filled with Love, Action, Storyline, Hot Bods, Mystery, and almost everything you would ask for in a movie! A whole package that's wonderfully planned, this movie needs no 3D to succeed!
